May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. Sometimes, we limit God’s love to the size of our own experiences. We measure it by our failures, our circumstances, or the fleeting nature of human affection. But today, I want to admonish you to stop shrinking the heart of God to fit your perspective.

In Ephesians 3:18-20, the Apostle Paul prays that we might have the power to grasp something truly staggering: “how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.”

Think about those dimensions. There is no corner of your life that is too wide for His grace to cover, no season too long for His patience to endure, no mountain too high for His sovereignty to reach, and no valley too deep for His compassion to descend. His love is not just a feeling; it is a reality that “surpasses knowledge.” It is a love that fills us with the very fullness of God.

If you have been holding back, doubting your worth, or living as if you are outside the reach of His favor, let this be your wake-up call. God is able to do immeasurably more than all you ask or imagine, not because of what you have done, but because of the power that is at work within you through His love. Open your heart wide today and let Him fill those empty spaces.

A Prayer for Today

Heavenly Father, thank You for the incredible depth of Your love. Forgive us for the times we have limited You by our own insecurities and doubts. We ask today that You open our eyes and our hearts to truly comprehend the width, length, height, and depth of the love of Christ. Help us to walk in the fullness of Your presence, trusting that You are working in us to do more than we could ever dream or imagine. We surrender our fears to You and choose to rest in Your unfailing grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
