Do you pray? How often do you pray? Is prayer a lifestyle habit or do we use it when we are uncomfortable or when we are in trouble? Let’s talk about it today!

Prayer is the most effective tool we have at our disposal, but if often underutilized. Prayer is not only a communicative tool for ‘church people’ or people of faith but for ALL people. Prayer allows us to talk to God and for Him to also talk to us. Yes, it’s truly pure communication.

Prayers are powerful, as a matter of fact, there are countless examples of this in the Bible and for many people today. I want to encourage us to pray more especially in times like these. The Bible says that we should be anxious for nothing, but simply place everything to God in prayer and petition (Philippians 4:6). Seek to connect with God, express your gratitude or concerns, tell God about the issues in your, yeah, connect and talk about it!

Remember that our connection to God is through Jesus Christ and Jesus reminded us that anything we ask in His name, He will do it (John 14:14). Get to know Jesus personally, it may start with prayer too. Don’t know how or where to start, look up Matthew 6: 5-14.

I want us to grow and flourish in prayer. Prayer yield results, it yields the peace and the joy of God, most importantly it keeps the spiritual ‘airways’ open between us and God.

Prayer is talking to God as you would a friend. Lets keep the line of communication open. God is listening.

It’s funny how many people who are not “good communicators” are great prayer ambassadors. Prayer puts you in a space where you can talk to God without fancy words or display of our eloquence. We can use the simplest words in fact we sometimes use no words at all. Oh! The power of prayer!
