The Lord demonstrates His love to us daily, and most of all He sent His Son to die for our sins. John states it beautifully 1 John 4:10 KJV “Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son to be the propitiation for our sins.”
Today, as the world celebrates what they call love, I wanted to encourage us to know who is love, who created love, and who provides unconditional love – that is God. In knowing true love we can therefore love ourselves, our parents, our partners /our spouses,our friends, our relatives, our neighbors, and our coworkers. Even availing ourselves to entertain, and to show love to the stranger in our gates.
“Loves is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.” 1 Corinthians 13:4, 7 NIV
