As we draw close to the end of the year, I am tremendously grateful for the journey we shared, and for everyone who read and shared these posts. Reflecting on what some may consider to be a challenging year, there is much to be thankful for. God has been so faithful and a constant help throughout the ‘storms and perils’ we encountered in the year 2020. I want to take some time to reassure us that the Lord, our God will never leave us, nor will He forsake us. He is with us in all things. Actually in our times of weakness and trouble, when we feel overwhelmed, He provides us with His strength. Has thou not known? hast thou not heard, that the everlasting God, the Lord, the Creator of the ends of the earth, fainteth not, neither is weary? there is no searching of his understanding. He giveth power to the faint, and they that have no might he increaseth strength (Isaiah 40: 28-29 KJV). In our weak times, the times when we feel down and out, the times we feel broken, God’s power is resting on you.
So I encourage you to take solace in the fact that God is faithful to His words and His promise. Continue to trust Him and take comfort in the path He has prepared for you. Be patient and don’t give up, “they that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength; they shall mount up with wings as eagles; they shall run, and not be weary, and they shall walk, and not faint ” Isaiah 40: 28-31 KJV.
As we enter 2021, stay connected to the eternal King of Kings, our Lord Jesus. Remember life will get hard at times, but with the Lord in our lives, stay comforted and assured through these words penned by the prophet Isaiah “every valley shall be exalted, and every mountain and hill shall be made low: and the crooked shall be made straight, and the rough places plain: And the glory of the Lord shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together for the mouth of the Lord hath spoken it ” Isaiah 40:4-5 KJV. I invite you to experience the glory and the move of God. The only way to do this is to know and accept the Lord Jesus as your savior. I pray that God will provide you with His grace and favor, your purpose through Him will be elevated, and His peace will be with us all. Be comforted in the promises and the sovereignty of God, and stand reassured that He Got You!!
